WARNING! It is recommended that all drive DATA be backed up
prior to attempting a rmware upgrade. Lost drive data is not the responsibility of
StarTech.com
To upgrade rmware, visit the StarTech.com website, if a new rmware upgrade is
available and recommended, download and save the le to a location you can easily
access.
Access the Enclosure web GUI and select System Manage – Firmware from the main
menu
Click the browse button, a le explorer window will appear, locate and select the
rmware download in the location it was saved, and click the Open button.
The rmware upgrade will install.
WARNING! During the rmware upgrade do not turn o the enclosure, close
the browser, or navigate away from the rmware update page. If the upgrade is
interrupted then it could result in damage to the enclosure or data on the drives. Once
the upgrade has completed the enclosure will automatically reboot.
Note: Update may take several minutes. The below progress indicator will appear
providing a countdown to system reboot.
