During playback to skip to next or previous chapter / track.
a On the remote control: (DVDs, Audio CDs)
• Press |ÃÃ (21) once to skip to the beginning of the
current chapter / track (twice for the previous one).
• Press ¨¨| / |Ãà (21) repeatedly to go to the next or
previous track/chapter; press as many times as the number
of required track/chapter skips.
b On the main unit: (Audio CDs)
1 Press JOG button ON (the button lights up).
2 Turn the SHUTTLE dial for direct track access (CD Audio).

Basic play
1 Press PLAY (27) to start playing the disc.
2 To make a still, press JOG button ON
(the button lights up).
3 To see the pictures
3a Press PAUSE (30) on the remote control repeatedly, to
see the pictures one after another.
• PLAY key (27) resumes playback.
3b Turn the SHUTTLE dial to go from one picture to another
(only forward motion is possible).
• If the player is left for 5 minutes in PAUSE mode, it
will STOP.
Stills and frame advance (DVDs and Video CDs)
Slow motion (DVDs and Video CDs)
1 Press PLAY (27) to start playing the disc.
2 Press PAUSE (30) for a still.
3 Start backwards or forwards slow motion using REV (26)
or FWD key (28).
a On the remote control:
• Press repeatedly for higher speeds (3 steps).
• PLAY key (27) resumes playback.
b On the main unit (with JOG off):
• Turn SHUTTLE dial (3 speeds).
• PLAY key (27) resumes playback.
• No sound will be heard on discs during STILLS and FRAME ADVANCE and SLOW MOTION.
• No reverse slow motion for Video CDs.
