Insert a USB memory stick into the USB port ofthe digital
receiver.

display the file list on the USB memory stick.

Put the highlight bar on a desired file and press the

button; then the list of folders on the hard disk drive gets
displayed.

Select a desired folder with the

button, and the se-
lected file will be copied into the specified folder.
NOTE
Your USB memory stick must be formatted in the FAT file sys-
tem. Otherwise, the digital receiver cannot recognize your
memory stick. In addition, the digital receiver can only rec-
ognize files and directories which are named with only alpha-
betic, numeric and underscore letters. If there is a file or forlder
named with other letters, the digital receiver cannot recognize
not only it but also its subsequent files and folders.
7.6 MP3 playback
You can enjoy music or audio books in MP3 format with the
digital receiver. Refer to
§
7.5 for how to copy a file from
the USB memory stick into the internal hard disk drive of the
digital receiver.
To play an MP3 file, perform the following steps:
1.
Press the button and then the or button to
display the MP3 list.
2.
Put the highlight bar on a desired file; if you want to play
several files, select them with the

✂
✁
F1 button.
3. Press the
✄
✂
✁
OK button to start playback.
4. To stop playback, press the button.
