If you forget your PIN code:
While the PIN code entering screen
is displayed, press RECALL four
times within 5 seconds. The PIN
code you stored will be released
(returned to BLOCKING RESET
status).

Using the V-CHIP (parental control) feature
The V-CHIP CONTROL menu includes the ENABLE
BLOCKING, SET RATING, SET BLOCKING OPTIONS, NEW
PIN CODE, BLOCK CHANNEL, VIDEO LOCK, and GAME
TIMER functions. You can use these functions after entering the
correct PIN code.
Entering the PIN code
1. Press MENU, and then press x or until the SET UP menu
appears.
2. Press y or z to highlight V-CHIP CONTROL, and then
press .

The PIN code entering screen (BLOCKING RESET or
BLOCKING ACTIVE) appears, as follows:
BLOCKING RESET status:
Press the Channel Number buttons
(09) to store a new 4-digit PIN
code.
BLOCKING ACTIVE status (when
the PIN code is already stored):
Press the Channel Number buttons
(09) to enter the 4-digit PIN code
you previously stored.
If the wrong PIN code is entered,
the message Incorrect will appear.
Enter the code again.
3. When the PIN code is entered, the V-CHIP CONTROL menu
(illustrated below) opens.

The V-Chip feature is only available for the
U.S. V-Chip system. The Canadian V-Chip
system (“Puce-V”) is not supported.
