You have two options with the closed caption feature (CC
MODE): captions or text.
A caption is a printed version of the dialogue, narration
and/or sound effects of a TV program. Text is information
not related to the program that appears on half of the TV
screen when available.
To set CC MODE
1 Press SETUP.
The following on-screen display
appears.
2 Press
/ to select “CC MODE SETUP”, then press
ENTER.
3 Each time you press ENTER, the CC MODE
changes as follows.
• You can also set with the CAP/TEXT button.
Each time you press the CAP/TEXT
button, the CAP/TEXT mode changes
as follows.
SET UP
OFF CC1 CC2 TEXT1 TEXT2
To set CC BACK
When you choose the “CC MODE”, you can select back of
the text.
1 In “CC MODE SETUP” press
/ and select “CC
BACK”.
2 Each time you press the ENTER button, the “CC
Back” changes.
BLACK: The text screen appears as a block box.
LUCIDITY :Only characters are displayed on the
screen.
