Registration
The Audacity application will only work for 7 days without a valid
registration code. The serial number or other unique number found on
this screen is used to generate your code. Return this number to
Support@AudacityAudio.com. The number must be identical to that
shown. A registration code will be returned within one day. Enter your
registration code here.
File Menu
The File Menu contains several items relating to file storage, transport, and general management. A
screen capture is on page 15.
Audio Info
This screen displays and provides a way to edit a variety of information concerning the selected audio
file. A screen capture is on page 13.
Rename File
To rename the selected file, select the file and then select Rename from the file menu, enter the new
filename and tap OK.
Delete File
To delete a file, select the file, tap Delete on the file menu and tap OK.
Delete All Files
Used to delete all files in the selected folder.
Move File
Used to move a file to another folder or memory location.
Create Folder
Used to create another folder.
Delete Folder
Used to delete an existing folder.
Email as Attachment
Used to attach an audio file to an email form.
Beam File
Used to beam an audio file to another Audacity user.
