Ifprintedverticallinesarewarpedorcolorsareoutofalignment,adjustthePrintheadalignment.Adjustthe

Printheadalignmentautomaticallyormanuallybyprintingandreadingatestpattern.

Therearetwomodesforautomaticadjustment:StandardAdj.andAdvancedAdj..StandardAdj.willx

mostslightimagedistortionorcolormisalignment,butifnot,tryAdvancedAdj..

Ifusingspecialmediaorprintingdoesnotimproveevenafterperformingautomaticadjustmentusing

advancedadjustment,trymanualadjustment.Forinstructionsonmanualadjustment,see“Adjustingthe

FollowthesestepsforstandardautomaticadjustmentofthePrinthead.

•Alwaysmakesuretheloadedpapermatchesthemediatypesettingontheprinter.Adjustment

cannotbecompletedcorrectlyunlessthesettingvaluematchestheloadedpaper.

•Werecommendusingthetypeofpaperyouusemostoftenforadjustment.

•ThisfunctionisnotavailableforCADTracingPaper,CADTranslucentMatteFilm,orCADClear

Film.Ifadjustmentisnotpossibleasexpectedusinghighlytransparentlmorsimilarmedia,try
