TakethefollowingprecautionswhenhandlingthePrinthead.
Caution
•Forsafety,keepthePrintheadinaplaceinaccessibleforchildren.
•Ifinkisaccidentallyingested,contactaphysicianimmediately.
•DonottouchthePrintheadimmediatelyafterprinting.ThePrintheadbecomesextremelyhot,and
thereisariskofburns.
Important
•AvoiddroppingorshakingthePrinthead.Otherwise,inkmayleakandcausestains.
•TheremaybeinkaroundthenozzlesofthePrintheadyouremove.HandlethePrintheadcarefully
duringreplacement.Theinkmaystainclothing.
•DonotopenthePrintheadpouchuntilimmediatelybeforeinstallation.AfterremovingthePrinthead
fromthepouch,installitrightaway.IfthePrintheadisleftafterthepouchisopened,thenozzles
maydryout,whichmayaffectprintingquality.
•IfyouneedtostoreaPrintheadtemporarilybeforeinstallation,donotkeepthenozzlesandmetal
contacts(→P.630)facingdown.Ifthenozzlesormetalcontactsaredamaged,itmayaffectthe
printingquality.
•NeverattempttotakeapartormodifyaPrinthead.Thismaydamagetheprinter.
•NevertouchthePrintheadnozzlesorthemetalcontacts.Thismaycauseprintingproblems.
