seconds and plug back in. While unplugged, write
down SmartLinc’s INSTEON I.D. for for step 5.
4. Test settings.
•EnterSmartLinc’sIPaddressandportnumberinto
your browser. Example: http://192.168.0.20:8080
•Ifhomepagedoesn’tload,checkyourformattingand
that you entered the correct IP address and port.
5. Register SmartLinc for remote access.
•Logontohttp://smartlinc.smarthome.com.
•ClickNewUserRegistration.
•Enteryourusernameandpassword(twice).
•EnterSmartLinc’sINSTEONI.D.,includingdots.
•ClickSubmit.
Log Into SmartLinc Away From Home
1. Log onto http://smartlinc.smarthome.com.
2. Click “I’m not at home.”
3. Type in your username and password.
4. Click Log In.
Access HTML SmartLinc Interface
The default web interface requires JavaScript. However, to access the interface from a web-enabled mobile
device, use the HTML version.
1. Log onto http://smartlinc.smarthome.com.
2. Enter “hindex.htm” on the end of the redirected web address.
3. Hit Enter to load the HTML interface.
