Setting the Sleep Timer
The sleep timer automatically
turns off the TV/VCR at the time
you select. This is convenient if
you like to fall asleep with the
television on.
1 With the main menu on the
screen, press CH or CH
until “Setup” is highlighted.
2 Press VOL+.
The Setup menu is displayed.
3 Press CH until “Sleep” is
highlighted.
4 Press VOL+ or VOL– to set
the length of time you want
the TV/VCR to remain on; off,
10, 20, 30, 60, 90, 120, 240, or
360 minutes.
5 Press MENU twice to exit the
menu system.
Using the On/Off Timer
This timer turns the TV/VCR on
or off at a specific time. You may
set the on time, the off time, or
both the on and the off time.
Whatever you choose, you must
turn the timer on after you set
the on or off times.
1 From the main menu, press
CH to highlight “Time Set.”
2 Press VOL+ to display the
Time Set menu.
Setting the on time
1 Press CH to highlight “On
Time.”
2 Press VOL+ to make the hour
flash.
3 Press CH or CH to set
the hour the set will turn on.
4 Press VOL+ to make the
minutes flash.
5 Press CH or CH to set
the minute the set will turn
on.
Setting the off time
1 Press CH to highlight “Off
Time.”
2 Press VOL+ to make the hour
flash.
3 Press CH or CH to set
the hour the set will turn off.
4 Press VOL+ to make the
minutes flash.
5 Press CH or CH to set
the minute the set will turn
off.
Turning the timer on
1 Press CH or CH to
highlight “Timer.”
2 Press VOL+ to set the timer to
“ON.”
3 Press MENU twice to return
to normal viewing.
