(4) Connecting a basic 5.1-channel surround system
Analog 5.1-channel audio signals can be output from the DVD-2910/955.
The multichannel audio signals recorded in packed PCM and the multichannel Super audio CDs can be played when an AV amplifier
equipped with analog 5.1-channel audio inputs is connected.
NOTES:
• For multi-channel connections, set “AUDIO CHANNEL” under “AUDIO SETUP” at “SETUP” to “MULTI CHANNEL” and make
the “SPEAKER CONFIGURATION”, “CHANNEL LEVEL” and “DELAY TIME” settings. (See pages 34 ~ 38.)
•With the DVD-2910/955, we recommend turning the digital output off by using the PURE DIRECT MODE and only outputting
analog signals in order to keep interference from the digital output circuitry to a minimum and allow you to enjoy high-quality
multi-channel sound thanks to the high-bit, high sampling frequency. (See pages 43, 44.)
