2.1.3 Vibration Requirements
The allowable vibration in the SPARC Enterprise M8000/M9000 servers are listed in
TABLE 2-2.
2.2 Electrical Specifications
SPARC Enterprise M8000/M9000 Servers can use two types of power supply: single-
phase power and three-phase power. Redundant power cables are supported only
on servers that have the dual power feed option. The dual power feed option is
included by default on servers that are configured for three-phase power.
Note – Power cables are not redundant on single power feed servers without the
dual power feed option. On servers that have single power feed, all power cables
must be connected and powered on at all times.
TABLE 2-4 to TABLE 2-6 list the power requirements for single-phase and three-phase
power supplies.
