This teletext alarm detecting feature of the DSR-1000eZ is compatible with the following styles of
Multiplexers:

Connecting to Dedicated Micros (DM)
When connecting to a Dedicated Micros multiplexer:
• It is necessary to connect the alarm output of the Mux to the alarm input of the DSR-1000eZ (as
you would do when connecting the alarm input on standard time-lapse VCR).
• It is necessary to configure the Main Menu → Alarms → Hardwire Alarm as Enabled.
• It is necessary to configure the Main Menu → Alarms → Teletext Alarm as Disable.

Teletext Alarm : Disable
Alarm Buzzer : Enable

To configure the alarm settings:
1. Use the Shuttle to navigate among the fields.
2. Use the Jog to change the values of the highlighted
fields.
3. To Save the changes and Exit the menu: Use the
Jog to select [OK], then press the Enter button.
--OR--
4. To Exit the menu without making changes: Use the
Jog to select [CANCEL], then press the Enter button.
