DOLBY PRO LOGIC II:
This mode will be automatically selected if
the programme source does not have
5.1-channel Dolby Digital soundtracks.
This function does not work for the sound
from headphones.
DOLBY DIGITAL
You can enjoy the surround sound of Dolby*
Digital programmes.
This function does not work properly
except for Dolby Digital programmes.
When viewing a programme from the
EXT terminal which has been set to
DIGITAL-IN:
If the programme source has 5.1-channel
Dolby Digital soundtracks, you can enjoy the
5.1-channel Dolby Digital surround sound.
1 Press the / (surround) button
The SOUND FEATURES menu appears.
2 Press the 6 buttons and choose
the surround mode
The surround mode changes as follows
each time the buttons are pressed.
DOLBY DIGITAL:
Choose when the programme source has
5.1-channel Dolby Digital soundtracks.
SURROUND OFF:
Choose when you want to stop the
surround effect.
The sound features can also be chosen and
set from the “SOUND menu” (see page 27)
DOLBY PRO LOGIC II
You can enjoy the surround sound of Dolby*
Surround encoded programmes.
This function does not work properly
except for Dolby Surround encoded
programmes.
When viewing a programme from the
EXT terminal which has been set to
DIGITAL-IN:
When viewing the Dolby Surround encoded
programmes, you can enjoy the Dolby
Surround Pro Logic surround sound.
When viewing a programme from the
EXT terminal which has not been set
to DIGITAL-IN, or when viewing a TV
programme:
When viewing the Dolby Surround encoded
programmes, you can enjoy the Dolby
Surround Pro Logic surround sound.
1 Press the / (surround) button
The SOUND FEATURES menu appears.
