VIDEOTEXT (TELETEXT)
This symbol in the channel information shows you whether Videotext/Teletext is
available for the selected channel.
When you press the
button, the receiver processes the videotext/Teletext service data for your TV set to
display, even when the signal is encrypted.
During the scan, the page which is being searched for is displayed in the top left-hand corner with the time
and date displayed at the top right.
When the search is fi nished, the Videotext/Teletext being broadcast by the relevant program provider
appears:
You have several options for calling up the desired pages:
- Input with number pad
- Scroll through using the
buttons
- Select one of the links on the current page (at the top of the screen, e.g. pages 133, 135, 116, ...) using
the
buttons and open by pressing the
button
- Select the options shown at the bottom end by pressing the respective coloured button (
#
(blue),
"
(yellow),
!
(green) and
(red))
- Scroll up and down in the sub-pages (e.g. 1/2 and 2/2) using the
buttons
Use the
&
buttons to scroll between the pages most recently selected/called up.
Pressing the
button repeatedly allows you to display the Videotext/Teletext in three transparent stages.
Pressing the
button a fourth time causes the Videotext/Teletext to revert to its normal form.
Press the
button or
button to exit Videotext/Teletext. When you next call up Videotext it will
automatically open at the Videotext/Teletext page you last selected.
