Picture Search Options
The most basic wa y to search during playback is using the FORWARD
(FWD) and REVERSE (REV) buttons. This section contains several other
options available for searching a tape.
Forward and REVERSE Search
You can search a tape during playback. Sound is turned off during
picture search. Search works best for tapes recorded at the SP or SLP
speed.
1. Pr ess FOR WARD (FWD) to sear ch forward or REVERSE (REV) to
search in reverse.
2. Press FOR WARD or REVERSE a gain or press PLA Y to return to
normal playback.
Insert Tape
Don’t forget to insert a recorded
tape when using the search features.
