2. Place the user’s handheld in the cradle. The server will detect
the handheld and automatically add the PIN to the Handheld
PIN field.
3. Select the name of the user to be added and click OK.Adialog
box appears asking if you would like to generate an encryption
key for the handheld. Click Yes.
4. You will be prompted to generate an encryption key. Move the
mouse as requested. You will receive a “successfully added”
message. Click OK to close the message. The handheld is now
ready to use.
Note
While the BESAdmin is running, ensure that the BlackBerry
Desktop Manager is not running on the same machine.
Note
If the user’s name is identified as a previous BlackBerry
user, you will not need to update the encryption key.
