TROUBLESHOOTING
Before requesting service for this unit, please check the following chart for a possible cause of the problem you are
experiencing. Some simple checks or minor adjustment on your AV system may eliminate the problem and resume
proper operation.
If you are in doubt about some of the check points, or if the remedies indicated in the chart do not solve the problem,
consult your dealer for instructions.
Common Symptom Possible cause Remedy
No power ü Power cord is not properly
connected to the power outlet
ü Make sure the connection between the power
cord and the outlet.
Disc tray can not be
closed
ü Disc is not properly placed ü Re-place the disc properly.
No playback ü Power is OFF
ü No disc is inserted (“no disc” will be
shown on screen.
ü Disc is upside down. (no disc” will
be shown on screen.)
ü Dirty disk
ü Deformed disk
ü Condensation happens
ü Turn ON the power.
ü Insert a disc
ü Reload disk. The label side should face
upward.
ü Clean disc surface
ü Change a new disc
ü Turn power on and idle for 1-2 hours.
Too much mosaic image ü Poor disc ü Change to a new disc
No audio ü Slow or fast playback
ü Audio terminals are disconnected.
ü TV volume is too small
ü Wrong AUDIO OUTPUT Setting
ü Press [PLAY] to resume normal playback
ü Check audio connections
ü Adjust TV volume

No Video ü Disconnection of video equipment

Remote control unit does
not work
ü No battery in remote control
