Using the index and page functions
Speaker Setup
Use these to view the desired index and page while playing a DVD-Audio disc.
• The INDEX and PAGE buttons can be used only when
playing a DVD-Audio disc.
• The INDEX button does not work if a track consists of a
single index.
• The PAGE button does not work if the current track does
not contain still images or if the disc contains a slide-
show. Also, still images may be displayed abnormally
depending on the authoring method.
Select using the INDEX
button if a track is divided
into multiple indexes.
Select using the PAGE
button if a track contains
many still images.
Setting the Speaker Mode
You can set the speaker mode for your current
system.
Initially it is set as follows.
- Front speaker (L/R): Large
- Center speaker: Not found
- Subwoofer: Not found
- Surround speaker (L/R): Not found
• If you have connected the system to a speaker with
low frequencies of 100Hz or below, select "Found
(Large)".
• If you have connected the system to a speaker
without low frequencies of 100Hz or below, select
"Found (Small)".
However, if you don't have a subwoofer connected,
always select "Found (Large)" for Front Speakers
(L/R).
• The test output signals will be heard clockwise starting from the Front
Speaker (L). Adjust the channel balance to match the test signal volume
stored in the system.
FRONT (L) ➞ CENTER ➞ FRONT (R) ➞ SUBWOOFER ➞ SURROUND (R)
