Repeater control
This system has a function to allow setting of multiple
monitors connected in a daisy chain using a single command.
This function is called repeater control. You can use Repeater
controlfunctionwithoutassigningIDnumbers.

In repeater control, responses are returned by all the
connected monitors.
If you want to determine that a value has been returned by a
specicset,assignIDnumberstoeachmonitorinadvance.
Whensomemonitorsdonotreturntheirresponses,the
probable cause is that the monitors could not receive the
commandorcommandprocessingisnotcomplete.Donot
send a new command.

Setting of the GAMMA user data

To transfer the GAMMA user data
Usetheuserdatatransfercommands(UGRW,UGGWand
UGBW).ForeachoftheR,GandBcolors,dividethetotal
512piecesofuserdatainto16blocks,andtransfer32pieces
of data with each command.

Saving the GAMMA user data
Usetheuserdatasavecommand(UGSV)tosavethe
transferred user data in the monitor.
If the data is not saved, it will be cleared when:
• Themainpowerswitchisoff
• STANDBYMODEisLOWPOWERandthemonitorenters
standby mode

Activating the GAMMA user data
Toactivatethetransferreduserdata,selectUSERforGAMMA
ofthePICTUREmenu,orsendthecorrespondingRS-232C
command.

Checking the GAMMA user data
Usetheuserdatareadcommands(UGRR,UGGRand
UGBR)toreturn512piecesofuserdataforeachoftheR,
GandBcolors.Dividethedatainto16blocksandreturn32
pieces of data with each command. The value to be returned
is not the value stored in the monitor, but the value in the
temporarymemoryfordisplay.(Thesevaluesarethesame
whentheuserdatasavecommand(UGSV)abovehasbeen
sent.)

• TheuserdataisnotinitializedbyRESETofthePICTURE
menu.Toinitializetheuserdata,useALLRESETofthe
FUNCTIONmenu.
TheGAMMAuserdatainitializecommand(UGRS)allows
theinitializationoftheuserdataonly.
