Setting items Options
HDMI Output
Set whether to output the digital audio signals
from the HDMI OUT or not.
On (Auto) :
To automatically convert the digital audio signals to the signal format
acceptable for TV and to output them from the HDMI OUT, meaning these
signals are heard from the speakers of your TV(, not the speakers connected
to this unit.)
Off* Speaker* :
Not to output the digital audio signals from the HDMI OUT, meaning these
signals are heard from the speakers connected to this unit.
■Notes :
• When an Audio CD recorded in DTS-ES or Dolby Digital EX is played, no
sound may be heard.
• When the HDMI Output is set to On (Auto), some buttons related to the
volume operation, etc. does not work, flickering “HDMI ONLY”.
Dynamic Range Control
Set whether to compress the dynamic range
between the loudest and softest sounds when
Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus or Dolby
TrueHD audio is played back.
On :
Turns on the dynamic range compression to hear low sounds easier.
Off* :
Turns it off.
Auto :
When Dolby TrueHD audio is played back, the dynamic range is automatically
adjusted.
