Enjoying Karaoke
You can enjoy karaoke by setting this TV to karaoke
mode. You can connect a microphone (not supplied)
to the TV.

When the input source is TV or USB photo/music/video,
karaoke cannot be used.
The voice input from microphone is not output from the
audio output jacks of the TV or Sony/Phillips Digital
Interface. Neither “Key Change” or “Vocal Reducer”
(page 32) are applied to the audio output signal.
When karaoke is used, video and audio from Scart
connection cannot be output.
1 Connect the microphone to the side panel
of the TV.
2 Select the input source except TV and
USB.
3 Press HOME and select “Karaoke”.
4 Set the Karaoke mode to “On” (page 32).

Do not bring the microphone close to TV as howling
may result.
During a thunderstorm, stop the karaoke function and
disconnect the microphone.
Do not output sound beyond the ratings of the TV. If you
input a loud voice, the sound may be distorted.
If you do not use the karaoke function, set it to “Off”.
Otherwise, noise may be input from the microphone.
The Vocal Reducer function may not be effective
depending on the source. If you use Karaoke DVD/CD,
set “Vocal Reducer” to “Off” (page 32).
