Switching the channel while
using the TV speakers as a
center speaker causes sound to
stop coming out of the TV
speakers
This is because the program on the new channel does not have center-channel
sound. Switch the Center Speaker In option to Off (see page 115).

Make sure to connect the audio output jacks on an audio device, such as a VCR or
a DVD player, to the audio input jacks on the media receiver unit. For the devices
that you wish to output sound from the TV speakers, connect them to the audio
input jacks as well as the video input jacks on the media receiver unit.
There is a whirring sound This is the sound of the internal fans of the display unit and the media receiver
unit. It is not a malfunction.

Cannot receive upper channels
(UHF) when using an antenna
Press ANT to select the VHF/UHF input (see page 62).

Some digital cable channels are
not being displayed
Certain cable companies have limitations on the broadcast of digital cable
channels. Check with your cable company for more information.
The digital cable channel may be set to Hidden in the Channel menu (see page
120).

How to reset TV to factory
settings
Turn on the TV. While holding down the RESET button on the remote control,
press the POWER button on the Media Receiver Unit. (The TV will turn itself
off, then back on again.) Release the RESET button.
How to restore Video settings

Press RESET on the remote control while in the Video menu (see page 110).
How to restore Audio settings
to factory settings
Press RESET on the remote control while in the Audio menu (see page 114).
Cannot cycle through the other
video equipment connected to
the TV
Be sure the Label Video Inputs option is not set to Skip (see page 125).
