Skipping a channel
Further Programme Preset
This feature allows you to skip unused analogue channel positions when selecting channels with the
PROG +/- buttons. However, you can still select a skipped channel by using the numbered buttons on the
remote control.
1. Access the Manual Programme Preset menu. (For more details refer to Steps 1-3, Manual
Programme Preset, on previous page.)
2. Press the v or V buttons to highlight the channel number you wish to skip. Press the b button to
highlight the SKIP column.
3. Press the v or V buttons to select On*. Press the OK button to confirm.
4. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to skip any other unwanted channels (if required).
5. Press the MENU button to return to normal TV operation.
Note: *Select Off to remove the Skip feature.
This feature allows you to set the volume level of an individual channel, fine tune the TV and set up a
channel for viewing signals from a connected Decoder.
1. With the TV in analogue mode, press the MENU button to display the main menu. Press the v or V
button to highlight the symbol, then press the b button to enter the Set Up menu.
2. Press the v or V buttons to highlight Manual Set Up then press the b button to display the Manual
Set Up menu on screen.
3. Press the v or V buttons to highlight Further Programme Preset then press the b button to display
the Further Programme Preset menu on screen.
4. Press the v or V buttons to highlight the channel number you require. Press the b button to select
(a) VOL, (b) AFT or (c) DECODER.

6. Press the MENU button to return to normal TV operation.
(a) VOL (Volume Level Offset) This allows you to set the volume level of an individual channel.
Press the v or V buttons to adjust the volume level over a range of -7 to +7. Press the OK button
to store.
(b) AFT (Automatic Fine Tune) This allows you to fine tune a channel.
Press the v or V buttons to adjust the tuning frequency over a range of -15 to +15. Press the OK
button to store.
(c) DECODER This allows you to set a channel for viewing scrambled signals from connected
equipment
Press the v or V buttons to select AV1, AV2 or AV3 depending on which socket the decoder is
connected to. Press the OK button to store. The unscrambled signal will now appear on the
selected channel.
