Recording from a VCR or TV
Notes on connection
•If the (recording) VCR is a monaural type,
connect the yellow plug of the A/V connecting
cable for video to the VCR. Connect only the
white or red plug for audio to the VCR. If you
connect the white plug, the sound is L (left)
signal. If you connect the red plug, the sound is
R (right) signal.
• If you are going to connect the VCR using the
S video cable [a], you do not need to connect
the yellow (video) plug of the A/V connecting
cable [b].
•If the S video jack is not provided on the TV or
VCR, do not connect the S video cable to this
VCR. Pictures will not appear.
To stop recording
Press π.
Notes on recording
•You cannot record a picture that has a
copyright control signal for copyright
protection of software. “COPY INHIBIT”
appears if you try to record such a picture.
•If the VCR is kept in recording pause mode for
more than five minutes, it automatically stops.
To reset the time code
Press TC RESET.

Remarques sur le raccordement
•Si le magnétoscope (enregistreur) est de type
monaural, branchez la fiche jaune (signal vidéo)
du câble de connexion A/V sur le
magnétoscope. Pour le signal audio, raccordez
uniquement la fiche blanche ou rouge au
magnétoscope. Si vous raccordez la fiche
blanche, le son est transmis par le signal L
(gauche). Si vous raccordez la fiche rouge, le
son est transmis par le signal R (droit).
•Si vous comptez raccorder le magnétoscope au
moyen du câble S-VIDEO [a], vous ne devez
pas raccorder la fiche jaune (vidéo) du câble de
connexion A/V [b].
•Si le téléviseur ou le magnétoscope ne comporte
pas de prise S-VIDEO, ne raccordez pas le câble
S-VIDEO à ce magnétoscope. L’image ne
s’afficherait pas.

Appuyez sur π.
Remarques sur l’enregistrement
•Vous ne pouvez pas enregistrer une image
comportant un signal de contrôle de droits
d’auteur pour la protection des données
logicielles. Si vous essayez d’enregistrer une
telle image, le message “COPY INHIBIT”
(“copie interdite”) s’affiche.
•Si le magnétoscope reste en mode de pause
d’enregistrement pendant plus de cinq minutes,
il s’arrête automatiquement.
Pour réinitialiser le code temporel
Appuyez sur TC RESET.
