Chapter 9: Advanced disc playback
Scene bookmark
Scene bookmarks refer to specific points in the
playback range that have been marked for later
access. You can create up to three markers per
disc.
Note: The saved scene bookmarks are only
accessible during the current session. Once
you eject the disc or turn off the TV/DVD, all
bookmarks will be cleared.
Bookmarking a scene (DVD/VCD/
CD)
Note:
In some cases, subtitles for the marked
scene may not display.
Bookmarking a scene may not apply to
some discs.
Viewing a scene bookmark (DVD/VCD/
CD)
To delete a scene bookmark:
Perform steps 1 and 2 above, then press .
Repeat playback/A-B repeat
You can choose to repeat DVD playback by title or
chapter. For audio CDs and Video CDs, you can
repeat a single track or the entire disc.
The A-B repeat function lets you repeat a specific
section between two set points. This section will
be played repeatedly until you turn off the A-B
repeat mode.
Enabling repeat playback (DVD/
VCD)
To resume normal playback:
Select Off in step 2 above.
Note:
The Repeat mode is canceled when SKIP
or SKIP is pressed.
The Repeat playback function may not
apply to some discs.

During playback, press at the scene
where you would like to place the bookmark.

Press or to select a blank marker, then
press to bookmark the selected scene.

Press to close the Bookmark window.

To save two more bookmarks, repeat steps 1-3.

Press during playback mode.

Press to start playback on the scene saved
in the selected bookmark.

[DVD]
Press repeatedly to select a repeat mode. It
can either be by Chapter or by Title.
The TV/DVD automatically starts
repeat playback after finishing
the current title or chapter.
[VCD]
Press to select Repeat, then press
repeatedly to select a repeat mode. It can either
be Single or All.
The TV/DVD automatically starts
repeat playback after finishing
the current track.
Note: If you set the repeat mode during
stop mode, press to start Repeat
playback.

Press again to close the Play Mode
window.
