Dynamic Range Control (DTV only)
In the SOUND menu press
e
to select Dynamic
Range Control.
Press
z
or
x
to select On or Off.

Dynamic Range Control allows control of audio
compression for some digital television programmes
(except MPEG-1 and MPEG-2).

Audio Level Offset
In the SOUND menu press
e
to select Audio
Level Offset then press OK.
The selection available is dependant on which
source is currently being viewed. Use
z
or
x
to
adjust the level.
NOTE: If Dolby Volume is set to Low or High
this feature will be unavailable.

This features allows the audio level offsets for ATV, DTV
and external equipment to be set separately in order to
stop the sudden changes in volume when switching
between sources.
Headphone Settings
This feature controls the volume through the headphones.
If Speaker Link is set to On the television volume controls
the headphones and the speakers.
If Speaker Link is set to Off the headphones work
independently and the volume is controlled by the
Headphone Level only.

Audio Description
This feature provides a detailed narrative sound track for
the visually impaired, provided it is being broadcast. The
function is available through the speakers or headphones
and is activated by pressing the AD button (AD will appear
in the channel banner if it is available). The volume is
altered by using the Mixing Level.
