Configuring the DVD player

Choosing standard settings
The DVD player provides a standard setting, called Type 1,
which configures the 586 into the most commonly needed
configuration.
Choosing Type 1 overrides any other configuration you may
have performed, and so can be used to reset the configuration
of the unit.
To restore the standard settings
Switch off the 586, using the power switch on the back panel.
Switch off any power amplifiers that are connected to the 586
and put any digital speakers to standby.
Switch on the power again while holding down the Off key on
the front panel.
After a short delay the display will show:
Type 1
Wait for one second, and then switch off the 586 using the
power switch on the back panel.
Switch on again to use the 586 with the standard setting.
