Configuring the 586 DVD Player
To configure specific options
● Switch off the 586, using the power switch on the back panel.
● Switch on the power again while holding down the display key
on the front panel.
The display will show:
Config
● Press Display until the display shows the current value of the
option you want to change.
For example:
Fan Auto
● Press [ or ] to set the value you want.
When you have configured all the settings you want to change:
● Switch off the 586, using the power switch on the back panel.
To change the video output format
You can change the active video output using the Video toggle
configuration option, enabling you to use the on-screen menus if
you do not have the Composite video output connected.
This changes the active video output between S-Video and
COMPONENT video.
● While in Config mode press Off.
The display will show:
