– [TIE Line] TIE-to-CO Security Mode
• 8.2 TIE Routing Table

Conditions
• Trunk to Trunk Restriction
Used to allow or restrict trunk-to-trunk path connection. To permit the TIE caller to make
a CO call via TD500 System, the Trunk Group used for this purpose should be allowed to
relay the call by System Programming.
• DISA / TIE User Code
Used to allow certain extension users "TIE Line and Outside(CO) Line Connection." If
"TIE-to-CO Security Mode" of the Trunk Line is set to "Yes," an extension user must enter
a valid DISA / TIE User Code before making "TIE Line and Outside(CO) Line
Connection."
• Making "TIE Line and Outside(CO) Line Connection" is available only when your system
employs PBX Code (Location number) method for making / receiving TIE calls.
