Following are descriptions of each rear panel connector:
1) 4-Pin Phoenix – RS-232 / IR
This connector can be used to connect a serial port from a computer to the panel
for configuration via the boot menu. When referenced, “Serial Port 1” is defined
as pins GND, RS-232 RX and RS-232 TX. By default, the following conditions are
set:
Baud Rate: 9600
Data Bits: 8
Parity: None
Stop Bits: 1
Flow Control: None
Note The IR-TX pin is not supported on the RCP-120.
2) LAN
One RJ-45 connector is provided for 10/100BaseT Ethernet communications. By
default, the following conditions are set:
DHCP = OFF
Default IP address: 192.168.0.100
Default Netmask: 255.255.255.0
The user can use the default address, or set a different address.
3) 2-Pin Phoenix – DC Power Input
One DC Connector is provided for connecting the remote control panel to 12V DC
power using the supplied universal AC to DC power supply.
