Using the TV
Setting the timer
You can use the timer to specify when you want your TVcombo to automatically turn on or
off. This timer turns your TVcombo on or off each day at the same time. If you want to set a
timer to automatically turn off your TV combo just one time, use the sleep timer. For more
information, see “Setting the sleep timer” on page 29.
To set the timer that turns your TV combo on:
1 Press the MENU button. The TV on-screen display (OSD) opens.
2 Press the VOL+ or VOL– button to select TIME, then press the CH– button. The TIME
menu opens.
3 Press the CH+ or CH– button to select TIME ON, then press the CH+ or CH– to select
--:--, then press the VOL+ or VOL– button to set the value.
4 Press the CH+ or CH– button to select AM, then press the VOL+ or VOL– button to
select AM or PM.
5 Press the MENU button one or more times to close the OSD.
