Using the DVD player
Controlling disc playback
To control disc playback:
•Press the PAUSE/STEP button to pause playback. Press the PLAY/ENTER button to
resume playback.
•Press the STOP button once to stop playback. Press the PLAY/ENTER button to
resume playback at the place on the disc where you stopped.
•Press the STOP button twice to completely stop playback. When you press the
PLAY/ENTER button again, the disc starts playing back at the beginning.
•Press the PREV button to go to the previous DVD chapter or audio track. Each time you
press this button, you go backward one chapter or track until you reach the beginning
of the disc.
•Press the NEXT button to go to the next DVD chapter or audio track. Each time you
press this button, you go forward one chapter or track until you reach the end of the
disc.
•Press the FWD button to fast-forward through a disc. Each time you press this button,
the fast-forward speed changes.
•Press the REV button to fast-reverse through a disc. Each time you press this button,
the fast-reverse speed changes.
•Press the PAUSE/STEP button to pause playback, then press this button again to go to
the next frame on a DVD. Each time you press this button, the video advances one
frame. Press the PLAY/ENTER button to resume normal playback.
•Press the SLOW button to play a disc forward slowly. Each time you press this button,
the slow motion speed changes. Press the PLAY/ENTER button to resume normal
playback. (This feature does not work with CDs or MP3 discs.)
Searching on a disc
To search on a disc:
•Press the SEARCH button once. Disc Go To --:-- appears. Use the number buttons to
enter the amount of time you want to go forward on the disc.
•Press the SEARCH button twice. Track Go To --:-- appears. Use the number buttons to
enter the track number you want to go to.
•Press the SEARCH button three times. Select Track --/03 appears. Use the number
buttons to enter the track number you want to go to.
Selecting the audio mode
Note: The options you see depend on what audio options are available on the disc.
To select the audio mode:
•Press the AUDIO button one or more times. Button presses must be within three
seconds of each other. The options you can select vary depending on the disc.
Audio 1/2:AC 3 2 CH English
Audio 2/2: AC 3 5.1 CH English
Mono Left
Mono Right
Mix-Mono
