Connect another Video Out
To temporarily change Video Out such as DVI, VGA, S-video, or composite video (any output other than
component video):
1 Turn off the TV/Display.
2 Turn off the HP Digital Entertainment Center by pressing and holding the On/Standby power button for 4
seconds. The On/Standby button should be dark and not lit amber or blue.
3 Disconnect the component video cable from the HP Digital Entertainment Center back-panel Video Out.
4 Connect another Video Out, such as DVI, VGA, S-video, or composite video cable to the HP Digital
Entertainment Center back-panel Video Out.
NOTE: If your TV/Display can accept DVI or VGA video, connect DVI or VGA video, for a higher-
quality image.
5 Turn on the TV/Display.
6 Switch the TV/Display input to the DVI, VGA, S-video, or composite video input.
7 Turn on the HP Digital Entertainment Center by pressing the On/Standby power button.
a Wait 1 to 2 minutes. The video image reappears.
b Do not restart your HP Digital Entertainment Center.
