6 Press the GUIDE button. The main on-screen menu will appear on the TV screen.
7 Press the
cursor button to select SETUP option, and then press the ENTER.
Note: Refer to the cable box owner's manual to identify the cable box output channel (usually 3 or 4).
8 Press the
cursor button to select "VCR PLUS+ SETUP", and then press the ENTER button.
9 Press the ENTER button to answer "YES" to the question "IS CABLE BOX BEING USED?"
Or, if you want to select "NO", press the
cursor button and then the ENTER button.
• If you select "YES", you need not operate "VCR PLUS + SETUP" (see page 44). During delayed recording, the
VCR channel will automatically switch to the cable box output channel.
