6 Press the PROGRAM button to complete your programming or continue with additional programs.
The delayed recording indicator will display on the VCR. This tells you that theVCR will automatically
record at the times and dates you have programmed.
Note: If a cassette has not been inserted or a cassette without safety tab has been inserted, the delayed
recording indictor will flash to warn you. The cassette without safety tab will be ejected automatically. Be
sure to insert a cassette with safety tab intact.
When you have set up all the timed recordings you want:
• Don't forget to load a videocassette (With the safety tab still attached) to record on.
• If you have installed a cable box (see page 26), set it up before starting recording.
If you are using a cable box the VCR can control:
Turn on the cable box
If you are using a cable box the VCR cannot control:
Turn on the cable box and select the channel you want to record on the cable box.
Important: Your timed recording settings take effect when you turn off the power on the VCR.
