To repeat an MP3 file(s)

Press ON SCREEN once.
The pull-down menu for Repeat Play appears.

TRACK: Current file repeat
GROUP:Current group repeat
ALL: All file repeat
OFF: Repeat Play is cancelled
Selected repeat mode also appears on the MP3 CONTROL
screen.
To start Repeat Play,

) if necessary.
To stop repeat playback
Press

CLEAR
).
The unit stops playback but does not cancel Repeat
Play.
To cancel Repeat Play
Select “OFF” in step 2 above.

Playing a JPEG disc
The unit can play back JPEG files on a personally
recorded CD-R/RW disc.
A disc that contains JPEG files is referred to as a “JPEG
disc” in this manual.
Notice that if a disc contains both of MP3 and JPEG files,
you can only play back files of the type selected by the
“MP3/JPEG” setting in the “PICTURE” menu (see page
77).
NOTE
For making your own JPEG disc using a CD-R/CD-RW disc:
•Select “ISO 9660” as the disc format.
•It is recommended to record your material at a 640 x 480 pixel
resolution.
•This unit supports the baseline JPEG format.

About JPEG discs
In a JPEG disc, each picture is recorded as a file. Files
are sometimes grouped into folders by category, etc.
A folder which has one or more files is regarded as
a group.
A folder which does not contain any files directly is
ignored.
Files which do not belong to any folder are grouped
into “group 1.”
The unit recognizes up to 150 files per group, and
up to 99 groups per disc. If there are files other than
JPEG files, they are also counted in the 150-file
total.
