Basic playback

Turn on the power.

• Playback starts with...
- the last programme recorded if it has not been played
back yet.
- the last played-back programme if it has not played
back entirely.
- the HDD Navigation screen (see page 29), or
- some demonstration programmes for the first time you
start playback.
NOTES
•When the entire programme has been played, playback stops
and on-air programme is shown on the TV.
•When the programme reaches its end while searching, picture
will pauses at the end.
To stop playback temporarily (Playback Pause)

To change the sound you hear
Press
AUDIO
on the remote control repeatedly until the
sound you want is selected. For details, see page 22.
• Turn on the TV and select an appropriate input (AV)
mode.
• If the unit is turned on with the HDD deck selected,
it takes about 20 seconds until the broadcast picture
appears on the TV. During this period, no
operations are permitted.
