”Automatic ”.
If, however, you want to search
for only one channel using the

standard, then select the
appropriate standard.

Press the red button.
The programme overview
appears. The programme or a
programme number is
highlighted in blue.
You can save in two ways:

–”Amplitude”; is normally set to ”Amplitu-
de Autom.”. For encrypted programmes
another amplitude value may have to be
set, e.g. 4.
–“Baseband”; normally “Baseband off”
should be selected. Some Pay TV decoders
require the baseband signal for decoding
Pay TV channels; in this case, select
“Baseband on”.
–”Polarity”; programmes can be
transmitted by satellites with negative or
positive polarity. If the polarity is set
incorrectly, the picture is displayed
negatively, or it flickers!
Colour standard:
If no colour picture is displayed, the
appropriate colour standard PAL, SECAM or
NTSC must be selected.
Press the MENU button to
return to the ”Manual setting”
menu.

Mode 2/sound 2:
This function allows a second sound channel to
be set. For example, for ”Sound 1” you can
select one language and for ”Sound 2” you can

by the channel.
• Select the ”Mode 2” line and set, for
example, M280 for mono sound on
EUTELSAT channels.
•For another language select the ”Sound 2”
line and select the corresponding carrier
frequency, e.g. 7.57 MHz.
Set video parameters
If you receive transmissions from another
country or encrypted programmes with a Pay
TV decoder, you may have to adjust the
corresponding video parameters for good
picture quality.
• Select the ”Video parameters” line.
• Confirm with the OK button.
Select ”Other ” and then the
”Colour standard ”line.
