Disc Operations
To access or exit the menu
● Press MENU on the Remote Control.
➜ For VCD with Playback Control (PBC)
feature (version 2.0 only), PBC playback allows
you to play Video CDs interactively, following the
menu on the display.
● In stop mode, use the Numeric Keypad (0-9)
to select a track and PBC will turn off.
➜ Playback will start automatically.
● During playback, press MENU.
➜ If PBC is ON, it will switch to OFF and
continue playback.
➜ If PBC is OFF, it will switch to ON and return
to menu screen.
Basic playback controls
Stopping / Resuming playback
1 During playback press 9 to stop.
➜ The DVD Player will memorize the point
where playback of the disc was stopped.
2 Press ÉÅ once on the front panel or É
(PLAY) on the remote control to resume
normal playback.
➜ The DVD Player will resume playback.
Note:
– This function will not operate if the disc is
removed from the DVD Player.
● Press 9 twice to stop playback of the disc
completely. When you press ÉÅ on the front
panel or É (PLAY) on the remote control again,
playback of the disc will start from the beginning.
Pausing playback
1 During playback, press Å on the remote control
or ÉÅ on the front panel.
➜ Playback will pause and sound will be muted.
2 Press Å orÉÅ again to resume.
Selecting track/chapter
● Press 4 once to return to the current
chapter or track.
● Press 4 twice repeatedly to start playback
from the previous chapter or track.
● Press ¢ to start playback from the next
chapter or track.
● To go directly to any chapter/track, enter the
chapter/track number using the Numerical
Keypad (0-9).
Zoom
Zooming allows you to enlarge or reduce the
video image during playback.
1 Press ZOOM repeatedly to increase and
decrease the playback video image.
2 Press 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 to pan across the LCD
screen.
Repeat
● To repeat a title, chapter or track, press
REPEAT on the remote control.
➜ A Repeat Chapter/Title/All menu
appears when you press REPEAT.
Notes:
– REPEAT function is not available for VCD 2.0
when PCB is on.
–For repeat function of an MP3 disc, see “Repeat
(MP3/JPEG)”.
Repeat A-B
1 Press A-B at your chosen starting point.
2 Press A-B again at your chosen end point.
➜ The section A and B can be set only within
the same chapter/track.
➜ The section will now repeat continuously.
3 To cancel, press A-B.
