Playing in Random Order
You can play chapters, titles, or tracks, or chapters within a title,
in random order (Random playback).
Title Random
Playing Chapters in a Selected Title in
Random Order
The DVD Receiver automatically selects the chapters in a
title and plays them randomly.
Press SEARCH, then press the
appropriate number button(s) for
the title which contains the
chapters you want to play in
random order.
e.g. To play the chapters in title 2 in random
order
Press RANDOM while the disc is
stopped.
If you press RANDOM during playback,
the DVD Receiver automatically starts
random playback after finishing the
current chapter.
Within 5 seconds, press s.
The DVD Receiver starts random
playback.
To resume normal playback
Press CLEAR.
Notes
• You can also use
+

(plus ten button) to add ten to the number.
• Some discs may not permit random playback operation.
• You cannot use the random playback function together with the
memory playback function.
• If you press w during random playback, the DVD Receiver goes
to another chapter and continues random playback.

Playing Chapters ,Titles, or Tracks in a
Disc in Random Order
The DVD Receiver automatically selects the chapters or titles
in a DVD video, or tracks in a VIDEO CD/audio CD, and plays
them randomly.
DVD
Press RANDOM twice while the
disc is stopped.
Then, press RANDOM repeatedly to
change the random play mode as follows:
Chapter Random → Title Random
Random off
VCD
CD
Press RANDOM once while the disc
is stopped.
To cancel random playback, press
RANDOM again.
If you press RANDOM during playback,
the DVD Receiver automatically starts
random playback after finishing the
current chapter (when Chapter Random is
selected), title (when Title Random is
selected), or track.
Within 5 seconds, press s.
The DVD Receiver starts random
playback.
To resume normal playback
Press CLEAR.
