MENU SCREEN
This section describes the overview of the menu
screen displayed when you press
[SET-UP].For
more details, see the reference page for each item.
The menu screen consists of the function setting
items below.

You can set the screen display or CAPTION in the
DTV mode.
(Refer to "CHANGING THE SCREEN DISPLAY
MODE" on page 19.)
NOTES:
• "DTV SET UP" can be displayed only in the DTV mode.
• To move to the normal screen, press
[SET-UP].
SLEEP TIMER / PICTURE CONTROL
You can set Sleep Timer and picture adjustment
with [PICTURE / SLEEP].
SLEEP TIMER SETTING
The Sleep Timer function is used to turn off the
unit without pressing
[POWER] after a desired
time.
1 Press [PICTURE / SLEEP] to
display the Sleep Timer menu.
2 Within 5 seconds, set your desired sleep time
using
[s / B].
• [B]...Increase by 30 min. (Up to 120 min.)
•
[s]...Decrease by 30 min.
3 To confirm the remainder time to shutdown,
press
[PICTURE / SLEEP].
PICTURE CONTROL
1 Press [PICTURE / SLEEP] twice.
2 Within 5 seconds, use [K / L]
to select the picture control
you want to adjust.
• You can select BRIGHT, CONTRAST, COLOR,
TINT or SHARPNESS.
3 Use [s / B] to adjust to your desired level with-
in 5 seconds.
• Even if any power failure occurs, the unit will
retain its memory for this feature.
