This unit can control a SIRIUS Satellite Radio
tuner (sold separately).
When the SIRIUS tuner is used together with
this unit, some operations differ slightly from
those described in the SIRIUS operation man-
ual. This manual provides information on
these points. For all other information on
using the SIRIUS tuner, please refer to the SIR-
IUS operation manual.
1 Sourceicon
Shows what the source has been selected.
2 Sourcename
Shows the selected source name.
3 SIRIUS band indicator
Shows the SIRIUS band which has been
selected.
4 SIRIUS preset number indicator
Shows what SIRIUS preset has been
selected.
5 SIRIUS channel number indicator
Shows to which SIRIUS channel number
the tuner is tuned.
6 SIRIUS channel select setting indicator
Shows what channel select setting has
been selected. ChNumber is displayed
when ChNumber is selected for the chan-
nel select mode, and Category is displayed
when Category is selected for the channel
select mode.

7 Detail information or preset list display
Shows the detail information of the broad-
cast channel currently being received or the
preset list.
1 Touch the source icon and then touch
SIRIUS to select SIRIUS.
2 Touch BAND to select a band.
Touch BAND repeatedly until the desired SIR-
IUS band is displayed, SIRIUS1, SIRIUS2 or
SIRIUS3.
3 Touch c or d to select a desired
channel.
The channels move up or down step by step.
Channels that cannot currently be selected
are skipped, and the next channel is selected.
# If you touch and holdc or d, you can in-
crease or decrease thechannel number con-
tinuously.
# You can also selecta channel by moving the
joystick left or right.
# You can also perform tuning froma desired
channel category. (Refer to Selecting the channel
in the channel category on the next page.)
Note
It may take afew seconds before you can hear
anything while this unitacquires and processes
the satellite signal.
