1 Press STOP 7 (7 on the front panel).
Playback stops.
2 Press OPEN/CLOSE 0.
The disc tray comes out.
The tray rotates and the disc that was playing is
located towards the front on the left side of the
table.
3 Press DISC CHANGE to remove all the discs.
4 Press on the remote control.
The disc tray goes back in.
5 [Models having a POWER switch on the main

Check that the “–OFF–” indication on the
display goes off, then press POWER on the
front panel.
Resuming playback from where
you stopped –– DVD/Video CD
Resume play is possible only in Normal mode.
With this player, it is possible to resume play of a DVD
or Video CD when play has been stopped.
Press STOP 7 once to enable play to resume
from a point shortly before the DVD/Video CD was
stopped when PLAY 3 is pressed again.
• To begin disc playback from the beginning, press
STOP 7 twice to turn off resume playback, and then
start playback again.
• When STOP 7 is pressed, “RESUME“ appears in the
display for as long as resume playback is possible.If
the function is canceled, “RESUME“ disappears and
the disc format appears in the display.
Note
• Resume play is only possible when the disc is loaded and
STOP 7 has not be pressed twice in succession (“RESUME”
appears in the display). If you want to continue viewing a DVD
at a later time or date, it is recommended to use the Last
Memory function described on page 53.
• Resume play is not possible in Karaoke mode.
• If the player is switched to Karaoke mode after resume play is
set in Normal mode, resume play is canceled.
• Resume play is cancelled if the PLAYBACK CONTROL is
turned ON/OFF while resume play is set.
• Resume play is not possible with Super VCD and CDs.
• For some discs, playback may not start from the position at
which it was stopped.
