i Please note that you inserted a cassette without erase
protection. Switch off with the STANDBY m button.
The programmed recording will only function when the
video recorder is switched off with the STANDBY m but-
ton.
DIf one or more of the TIMER blocks are occupied, ’k
lights up in the display.
DIf the end of the cassette is reached during a recording,
the cassette will automatically be ejected.
DIf you forget to load a cassette, ’NO CASSETTE’ appears
on the TV screen and ’k’ lights up in the display.
DIf you inserted a cassette with erase protection when you
want to start a recording, the cassette will be ejected.
DProgramme numbers ’E1’ and ’E2’ are provided for
external recordings (via scart socket AV1 EXT1 or
AV2 EXT2 ).
DProgramme number ’AUX’ is provided for audio record-
ings via sockets AUX IN L R .
Manual programming without ’VIDEO Plus+’
a Switch on the TV set. If required, select the programme
number for the video recorder.
b Press the TIMER s button on the remote control.
The programming mode selected last is marked.
c Select the line ’TIMER PROGRAMMING’ with the menu
buttons P = or P ; and confirm with the P button.

d Select the entry field with the menu buttons Q or
P .
e Enter data with the menu buttons P = or P ; or with the
digit buttons 0-9 .
DSelect recording at daily or weekly intervals in the field
’DATE’, with the SELECT button.
’MO-FR’: Recording to be made from Mondays to Fridays
inclusive.
’MO’: Weekly recordings on the same weekday.
DUse the SELECT button to switch ’VPS/PDC’ on or off in
’START’.
DUse the SELECT button to select the recording speed ’SP’
or ’LP’ in ’END’.
f Confirm with the OK button.
DThe data has been stored in a TIMER block.
g To end, press the TIMER s button.
