4) Network
You can setup the DVR to operate over a network. This is an advanced feature of the DVR
and should only be attempted by persons familiar with networking technologies.
①
[TCP/IP]
Choose your network mode (Static IP / Dynamic IP) and your IP address information.
Specifying the TCP port numbers the DVR will use for Web access, Playback and Live.
Default values: Web(80), Playback(9091), Live(9092)
For dynamic IP (DHCP) or PPPoE
Your IP address, subnet mask, gateway and DNS will automatically be set by
the Dynamic Host (usually your router).
You can specify account and password for PPPoE by selecting the PPPoE button
which is located in the lower left-hand corner.
For static IP
You’ll need to enter your IP ADDRESS, SUBNET MASK, GATEWAY, DNS, MAC
ADDRESS.
If you’re unfamiliar with networking technologies, we suggest talking with an
IT professional. They’ll know exactly how to set all these values.
If you’re running a basic home network, try using DHCP. This is a much simpler
protocol to setup, if you’re not a networking expert.
※
Typically, ports between 8000~65535 are the best ones to use.
※ Do not use the same port number with each other.
※ If the DVR is connected to the Internet via a router, you may have to configure
PORT FORWARDING in your router.
