DIGITAL OUTPUT
- PCM : Converts to PCM (2CH) 48KHz/16Bit audio. Select PCM when using the Analog
Audio Outputs.
If the unit is set to PCM, speaker setup is changed to 2CH
and the speaker setup can’t be controlled.
- BITSTREAM : Converts to Dolby Digital BITSTREAM (5.1CH). Select BITSTREAM when
using the Digital Audio Output.
LPCM 96 KHz 48 KHz
- For discs recorded with 96 KHz Linear PCM, you must change 96KHZ(Off) to 48KHz(On)
for analog and digital output.
PCM won’t be output when it is set to LPCM 96 KHz.
DTS
- ON : Outputs DTS BITSTREAM via digital output only. Select DTS when connecting to a
DTS DECODER.
- OFF : Doesn’t output DTS signal.
DYNAMIC COMPRESSION
- ON : To select dynamic compression.
- OFF : To select the standard range.
ANALOG 2X SCAN AUDIO
- ON : Turns analog 2X scan audio on.
2X Scan Audio does not work when using the digital output.
- OFF : Turns analog 2X scan audio off.
SPEAKER SETUP
- CASE 1 -11 : Use the LEFT/RIGHT button to select the desired speaker setup.
There are 11 different speaker settings to optimize the DVD player to your
audio system.
- Speaker Setup is only available in Bitstream mode.

DVD disc may not be heard if you
are connected to a regular 2
channel stereo. If this occurs, the
following procedure must be
performed:
Select PCM in the Digital Output of
the Audio Options menu. Or, select
CASE1 in the Speaker Setup when
the unit is set to BITSTREAM.
