TruSurround XT is a patented SRS technology that solves the problem of playing 5.1
multichannel content over two speakers.
TruSurround delivers a compelling,virtual surround sound experience through any two-
speaker playback system, including internal television speakers. It is fully compatible with
all multichannel formats.
1. Press the MENU button to display the menu. Press the 5 or 6 button to select “Sound”,
then press the ENTER button.
2. Press the 5 or 6 button to select “SRS TSXT”, then press the
ENTER button.

Press the 5 or 6 button to select “On” or “Off”. Press the
ENTER
button.
4. Press the EXIT button to exit.

Listening to the Sound of the Sub Picture
Main: Used to listen to the sound of the main picture.
Sub: Used to listen to the sound of the sub picture.

Adjusting the Volume Automatically
During the PIP features activation, you can listen to the sound of the sub picture.
1. Press the MENU button to display the menu.
Press the 5 or 6 button to select "Sound", then press the ENTER button.
2. Press the 5 or 6 button to select "Sound Select", then press the ENTER button.
3. Press the 5 or 6 button to select "Sub". Press the ENTER button.
4. Press the EXIT button to exit.
You can select this option when the "PIP" is set to "On". (refer to page 13)
If you want to hear the sound through separate speakers, cancel the internal amplifier.
1. Press the MENU button to display the menu.
Press the 5 or 6 button to select "Sound", then press the ENTER button.
2. Press the 5 or 6 button to select "Internal Mute", then press the ENTER button.
3. Press the 5 or 6 button to select "On" or "Off". Press the ENTER button.
4. Press the EXIT button to exit.
When "Internal Mute" is set to "On’, the Sound menus except for "Sound Select"
(in PIP mode) cannot be adjusted.
Each broadcasting station has its own signal conditions, and so it is not easy for you
to adjust the volume every time the channel is changed. This feature allows you to
automatically adjust the volume of the desired channel by lowering the sound
output when the modulation signal is high or by raising the sound output when the
modulation signal is low.
1. Press the MENU button to display the menu.
Press the 5 or 6 button to select "Sound", then press the ENTER button.
2. Press the 5 or 6 button to select "Auto Volume", then press the ENTER button.
3. Press the 5 or 6 button to select "On" or "Off". Press the ENTER button.
4. Press the EXIT button to exit.
You can also set these options
simply by pressing the SRS button
on remote control.
