Device Table
NOTE: Please refer to the table below when
performing the instructions in
“Programming a Device” on page 11.
After programming, the RadioShack 8-in-1 LCD
Remote will be able to control the following types of
devices:
Control your VCR, DVD player, or
Video On Demand (VOD) if available
on your cable/satellite service.
Control the functions of your PVR.
Control the Picture in Picture (PIP)
functions of your TV or VCR.
Record a video program on a record-
capable device (press twice).
Use the light bulb key to turn LED
backlighting on or off. Press and
hold this key to display the time and
date on the LCD. The time and date
will display only if the clock has
previously been set.
Set the sleep timer of your selected
device. This is only available if your
device has a sleep function.
Program macros. You can program
macro sequences on any of these
three keys.
Device Key Controls these types of devices
Any device type can be assigned via the
LCD menu. Device types include: TV,
VCR, DVD, AUX, Cable, Satellite, DSS,
Receiver, PVR, Amp, Misc. Audio, CD,
Home Automation, Video Accessories,
and Tuner.
