USING THE DIGITAL AUDIO OUTPUT
Your player also includes a co-axial digital audio
output. You can use this jack to connect digital audio
to a surround-sound decoder that doesn’t have HDMI
connections.
Connect a single digital audio phono interconnect
between the digital audio output of the player and a free
digital audio input of the decoder.
NOTE: Video may be connected to the TV via HDMI or
CVBS (Composite) analogue video out. In the system
illustrated, video and audio are connected to the TV via
the HDMI connection.
NOTE: It is advisable to check that the settings for the
digital audio output are correct for your AV surround
decoder. These can be found in the section ‘System
settings - audio category’.
